Who are we?
Founder & owner Will studied Classic French Pâtisserie at Le Cordon Bleu in 2011, which led to his Pastry Chef position at Chelsea’s famed Bibendum restaurant. He ultimately became Bibendum’s Oyster Bar Sous Chef in 2013, before following his mentor Tam Storrar to Blanchette in Soho. Will rose to become Blanchette’s Head Chef.
Will & team then opened the doors of Otis & Belle in Autumn 2020 after moving up from London, seizing an opportunity he couldn’t pass up!
Lovingly named after Will & Leila’s children, Otis & Anabelle, ‘Otis & Belle’ is an independent, local, artisan bakery based in The Cotswolds. Our primary focus is sourdough (the naturally leavened bread of our ancestors), and as strong advocates for the health benefits of sourdough, our loaves are slow fermented over a two-day period. This aids suit digestion, making our bread kinder to our customers. We also produce high-end viennoiserie and patisserie, as well as other hand crafted loaves and rolls.
We occupy prime retail location in Moreton-in-Marsh, at the entrance to the historic market town’s Old Market Way arcade; the newly restyled Talbot Court in Stow On The Wold; and the picturesque high street in Broadway. Offering a flexible service, customers can relax with coffee and a snack, browse fine foods to take home, grab an early-morning croissant before their commute, or simply collect a fresh loaf of sourdough bread.
We pride ourselves not only on quality of produce but quality of service as well. Our team of friendly front-of-house staff will brighten up your morning, and be able to advise you on what products might be best suited to you and your needs.
